“I’ve worked as a knitware designer for several years now – it’s a job I love for many reasons! One of them of course, is that I can try out all different kinds of yarn and see how they behave in knit fabrics. I also love playing with colors – choosing colors is one of the steps I enjoy most when creating new design. So when The Yarn Collective approached me to ask if I would like to be involved in working on a new yarn, that was really tempting. Creating my own color palette was fun – it was a freeing process, because until then I was used to choosing from a existing palette. Putting my favorite colorways together was very much like painting with my watercolors, which is something I love.”
